SALES & PR DIRECTOR
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Responsible for the sales operation in it’s entirety, the marketing and advertising relating to sales and the company respectively as well as certain sales related promotions and the general operation of the sales department.
- To conduct the weekly sales and marketing meeting attended by the General Manager, Rooms Division Manager, Banqueting and Conventions Manager, Sales Coordinator and initiate follow up.
- To update all company literature such as fact sheets, directories etc in conjunction with Head Office.
- To compile a summary report of occupancy figures, banqueting revenues, banqueting business and promotions on a monthly basis to present at the National Sales Meeting
- To compile a monthly General Manager’s Report pertaining to "Rooms Division" and Banqueting and Conventions" to form apart of the Management Pack sent to Head Office
- To ensure the total up date of mailing lists
- To maintain and update the Sales Plan
- To liaise with the General Manager as and when a specific campaign needs to be researched – primarily in F&B
- To liaise with the Advertising Agency and draw up detailed briefs on specific market needs
- To make decisions on the media selection and flight dates
- To liaise with the General Manager on aspects of Special Packages such as Weekend Specials, flyers, leaflets, Weekend Conference Savers etc
- In certain instances, to formulate the packages in terms of detail, copy and layout and brief the relevant Advertising Agency in this regard.
- To set, with the General Manager, the annual sales Budgets in respect of certain selected categories
- To achieve these budgets through constant contact with the relevant market types thus ensuring, in conjunction with the General Manager, Rooms Division Manager and Banqueting Manager that the overall rooms and banqueting budgets are achieved.
- To liaise with the Corporate Sales Manager at Head Office
- To assist, motivate and guide the Sales Coordinator with his/her primary function
- To liaise with the Rooms Division Manager in respect of the Sales Mix.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Male or female max 45 Years Old
- Minimum diploma of Public Relation or Hospitality
- Minimum 8 years experience in same position
- Good English oral and written, good communication and interpersonal skill
- Willing to stay in Berastagi, Sumatera Utara
