JOB PURPOSE:

 

Spot Business sales consultants are responsible for identifying, developing and growing client relationships within Telecoms open-market clients of all sizes and entities. New prospects will be researched and identified whilst existing non-major accounts will be maintained and developed utilizing strong telephone, client presentation and CRM-management skills. The consultant will maintain a thorough understanding of the telecoms industry and client needs in order to identify appropriate prospects and quickly establish effective client growth against corporate and personal targets.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsible for increasing Penta Sales’ penetration into the Telecoms open–market contract division.
  • Prospect, qualify and build new business opportunities, including researching and gathering intelligence on target market sectors, cold calling, requirement qualification and liaison with clients for account development purposes.
  • Be able to present stand-alone corporate presentation to global client base.
  • Be able to negotiate terms and conditions of business with existing and new clients, targeting specifically high-margin revenue streams.
  • Solid understanding of rolling forecast / actual revenue streams anticipated and generated from each client relating to Turnover, GP and % coupled with ROCE.
  • Create and maintain plans for each client and be able to review with the Spot Market Manager at regular one-to-one meetings.
  • Work closely with support divisions and take the lead where appropriate regarding contracts, invoicing, payment chasing, etc, in particular being fully aware of the accounts debt and ensuring all debtors fall within specified payment terms
  • Responsible for the identification of suitable candidates to fulfill client requirements – this will include headhunting and candidate interviewing.
  • Ensure all new sales are fully compliant with signed documentation, full understanding of compliance solutions and associated costs, with an ongoing understanding of their commercial agreements to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Deploy and manage candidate activities where applicable.
  • Commission will not be paid on any placement found not to be within Telecoms skill arena.

  • Strong telephone and face-to-face sales skills (questioning skills, objection handling, negotiation skill, persuasion and expectation management)
  • Target driven with ability to work to deadlines.
  • Able to achieve openings and build relationships with prospective clients.
  • Excellent documentation skills and adherence to group MIS systems.
  • To develop technical expertise and market awareness in line with both business area and client base.
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of initiative
  • Ability to think outside the box

 

 

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • (Desirable)  2+ years sales experience within recruitment
  • Sales / Account development experience
  • Educated to Degree standard
  • Excellent computer skills including Word / Excel / PowerPoint
