Reports directly to Head of Direct Marketing

Primary Objective:

The primary objective of this position will facilitate marketing initiatives and will be involved in all elements of the marketing cycle to support campaign set up, policy issue, billing, customer service, and training.

The Objective involves:

  • Liaise with IT and PCM (Profit Center Manager) / DM (Direct Marketing) locally and regionally to provide systems support, project planning, implementation and execution for all existing systems related activities that support DM.
  • Help to establish a model program for back office support that eliminates manual processes.
  • Enhance reporting functions using standard and ad hoc reporting tools available in billing system.
  • Lead new projects to continue the enhancements to the billing system and DM Web platform to support future growth
  • Assist current and future sponsors with technical or systems related issues for TPA (Third Party Administrator) uploads, billing, reconciliation, related topics.
Responsibilities:

  • This position must have a skill set to span both business and technical tasks. As part of DM team this position will elicit, organize, and document system requirements and rules in order to ensure that the technical team members can develop solutions that meet the stated business objectives. Overall, this position job is to interpret the business user’s desires into system requirements and assist in integrating the solution into the users’ work environment.
  • Lead project team of combined IT and DM staff to successful completion of necessary enhancements to move from a manual environment to fully automated processes for policy issue, billing and reporting.
  • Define and document business rules for transformation process.
  • Develop report specifications and standard reports.
  • Test functionality as the technical team releases processes to the test environment.
  • Work with IT and users during the UAT (User Acceptance Test) phase.

Ongoing Responsibilities:

  • Manage the DM department requirements for error free policy issue, billing and reconciliation, and reporting
  • Assist user community in the use and understanding of the TPA upload functions and the Billing File submit and resubmit processes.
  • Cross training and on going training of skills to allow growth.

Minimum Required Skills :

  • Data analysis and reporting experience
  • Experience with relational databases and query tools
  • Basic SQL skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong Interpersonal, Writing and Presentation Skills
  • Creative Problem Solving Skills – Leverage knowledge and experience from varied resources and departments/countries to solve complex problems effectively.
  • Quick, Independent Self Starter.

  • Database management skills
  • Team leadership skills
  • Experience in training and adoption of database marketing techniques
  • Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence Application suite or similar desired
  • Fluent English required
